Why Decide on a Huge Survival Knife?
Some people like to carry a large survival knife and some people do not. It is a purely private desire. I, for my part, would be trapped in the desert with a large survival knife and would have to have added fat, to have a knife that is easy to carry, even so can not cope with heavy weight cutting tasks like the BK9.
This knife is great for large chopping and slicing tasks. The 1060 carbon steel blade retains a sturdy edge and is easy to sharpen. When I carry this knife with my tent I never have to provide an ax because the BK9 is just as good or much better than any discipline ax that I have broken with. Having a big knife like this really makes it possible for you to have less equipment and for that reason less excess weight.
The Ka-Bar Becker BK9 is tremendously extraordinary and you will see it in the arsenal of the most experienced outdoor survival. I have seen this knife a variety of moments on survival screens such as male, female, wild and Man vs. wild. This is one of the best survival knives that I have had the satisfaction of testing.
